Sneaux In New Orleans
It didn’t just snow, it “sneauxed” in New Orleans!
Everything came to a complete stop. Schools closed, stores locked their doors, and the roads emptied faster than a second line parade disappearing down the street. The city, usually full of life and color, was suddenly quiet, blanketed in a layer of white that felt as rare as a Falcon fan screaming “Who Dat?!”
It was chaos. We expected an inch or two, not a blizzard! Our jackets were more fashion than function. But once the initial shock wore off, it turned into something magical.
The kids were outside building sneauxmen draped in Mardi Gras beads, sneaux angels, and we laughed through frozen faces.
For a few days, New Orleans wasn’t just the “Big Easy”, it was the Big Freezy, ya heard. The sneaux may be melting, but the memories we made will stick with us forever.
